Tor Books has announced the dates and locations for the May 2011 tours of both Catherynne M. Valente and John “Night Dragons” Scalzi.
Valente, who is currently on tour for her new fantasy novel Deathless, will be celebrating the release of her new middle grade book The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making, written by Valente and illustrated by Ana Juan. Check out this gorgeous book trailer utilizing Juan’s art for Fairyland.
Scalzi will be out and about promoting Fuzzy Nation, which is a “reboot” of H. Beam Piper’s 1962 science fiction novel Little Fuzzy. Here he explains why he felt motivated to write a “reboot,” and explains why it’s only a reboot in the loosest sense.
